here's a nice plant i picked up but can't remember the name it was under.. or if it was even under one Rolling Eyes would like to know for sure so i can locate some more.. leafs are about 4-5 inches.. similar to barteri but more slender. any help would be greatly appreciated Very Happy

That's an interesting one there Mark. Leaves look like Coffefolia but are more lance like which makes them look similar to Lanceolata. I am gonna go with Coffeefolia because of the more pronounced ridges in the leaves.
Yellowing in the leaves leads me to believe it could use a little Iron Chelate Supplement.

should of just left that first pic up to go by.. i tried to brighten up the 2nd pic for it came out too dark to se and it made it look yellow.1st also shows that new leaf opening which is really more redish.thought of coffefolia but maybe this is a hybrid plant?.Lanceolata pics i looked at seem a little wider leafed... still not sure though.. thanks for the input

It might be a hybrid. What ever it is its cool. I like the new leaf coming out red!

only a few places i found to have it..one in malasia on aquabid and

heres another question though....
My Red Barclaya Longifolia has a shoot coming out of it now.. is this a new plant or flower?

judging by the one thick stem seems like a flower.. anyone??

I was thinking that would be the way to go. APC (Aquatic Plant Central) is a great resource for plant information. Also come on over to my club site some time. We are called SCAPE or Southern California Aquatic Plant Enthusiasts.

And by the way based on the pictures of your fish and the looks of your plants that I can see in the pictures, it looks to me like you are doing fine with your green thumb!
