Anyone need some water lettuce?? We've got enough to get a good starter portion to about 5 people. Will send it out for the cost of shipping in a small insulated box with heat pack(adds $1.00) via priority mail to the 1st 5 people who are interested. Please reply here and then pm me if you want some!! We will be shipping stuff out this coming Tuesday, so please get your request in asap.
We also have duckweed(3 different types), and a little frogbit to share if anyone is interested.
We also have some plants for sale--contortion val, sag, a couple med swords, various java ferns, and lots of java moss and guppy grass(naja grass) but I wouldnt want to ship these plants via priority mail, its still a little cold to take a chance with plants people are paying for! If anyone is interested in buying a few plants along with getting the free floaters, we could easily ship them express mail. Plants dont weigh much, so shipping them express mail usually isnt too expensive. We have a fedex account now too and get a great discount on shipping that way, so that is another option for over night delivery.
let me know.

Hey Lori,
Is there any chance these plants could be shipped to Europe as well? |

Sorry, guys. I didnt see these replies here before now. I guess I need to figure out how to navigate this forum a little better so I dont miss things??
Robby, I have "regular", "small", and "large" duckweed. LOL!! I dont know the specific names....... I can take a pic of the different ones so you guys can see.....which type are you interested in?? I dont have the really tiny stuff, but the small duckweed I have is just the right size for larger bows to eat as if it were flake food when I put it in their tank. If you want to pm or email me, we can talk some more about what you are looking for in your duckweed.
Gunther, I have no idea about shipping plants to Europe. But, I would try! It might take a while to get it all figured out, but I will be sure to save some plants for you guys. If you are looking for a specific plant that you cannot get over there, let me know and I can see about tracking some down. just pm me.

I have a bad feeling that shipping plants to Europe may require a EU-wide license and a certificate that duck weed was not genetically engineered....
I would love to see duckweed/frogbit photos. Small duckweed here is a pest I cannot get rid of, but there is something duckweed-like with larger leaves that appeared in my tanks from seemingly nowhere and is quite neat.... _________________ Poecilia sp. | I will post some photos of these floaters then when I post the other pics I'm working on, so you can compare. Are the leaves firm and shiny?? Or are they spongy and bumpy?? Like my technical terms?? lol. |

(my unknown duckweed?)
firm and shiny, and the underneath of the leaves is purple. |
